Training in Item Writing in the English language for Information Technology and Engineering Studies

Cito International (the Netherlands) and Malaysia Examinations Syndicate organised the training in item writing in the English language for information technology and engineering studies in order to:

• guarantee the quality of items in information technology subjects and engineering studies in the English language in Malaysia;
• strengthen the principles and procedures of item writing in the English language;
• obtain skills in using proper English in item writing in information technology subjects and engineering studies;
• obtain skills in using the accurate task words and operative words in item writing;
• obtain skills in writing items classified as recall and thinking items.
