Item Response Theory

Participants will learn the basic principles of item response theory (IRT). The course consists of presentations and workshops.

The course starts with some theory on IRT, including a comparison with classical test theory. The data analyses will be discussed and interpreted on the basis of materials that the trainer will provide. In the second part of this course participants will learn to run the OPLM computer programme and to interpret the results.

Participants are invited to bring their own materials. The trainer will contact the participants concerning the types of materials.
